Chiropractic Care

Natural Veterinary Mobile Care

Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy (also known as Animal Chiropractic) is a safe and effective treatment for animals, often used on its own or combined with acupuncture and traditional medicine. This therapy focuses on diagnosing and treating musculoskeletal and neurological disorders. By gently palpating the joints of the spine and limbs, areas with restricted movement are identified and adjusted, restoring normal joint function and improving nerve function. This not only enhances the nervous system’s performance but also alleviates pain. Many animals find the chiropractic examination relaxing and the adjustments painless, making it a comfortable and beneficial experience for them.

What conditions can chiropractic care treat?

Chiropractic care can help manage a wide range of conditions in cats and dogs, including back and neck pain, joint stiffness, hip dysplasia, arthritis, intervertebral disc disease (IVDD), neurological disorders, mobility issues, musculoskeletal injuries, and overall physical discomfort.

What does each session look like?

After arriving and ensuring your pet is comfortable, Dr. Grude will carefully perform chiropractic adjustments of the spine and joints, focusing on areas that are contributing to discomfort or limited mobility. Each adjustment is done gently and precisely, targeting specific areas to improve nerve function, relieve pain, and restore balance. Most patients receive a combination of acupuncture and chiropractic treatments at each session. A normal session typically lasts approximately 45 minutes.

How many sessions will my pet need?

The number of sessions your pet requires will be dependent on the condition we are treating. During the initial consultation, we will determine the best treatment plan that fits your pets conditions. Patients tend to respond best to once weekly treatments initially.
